As President, ARAMARK Sports, Entertainment & Conventions, Marc Bruno has operational responsibility
for the more than 170 stadiums, arenas, concert venues, and convention centers throughout the country where
ARAMARK provides food and beverage, facility and/or retail services. He was promoted to this role in May
2008.
Bruno, who joined ARAMARK in 1993, brings a wealth of experience in sports and entertainment to this position.
For the 2008 Summer Games in Beijing, China, he successfully negotiated and signed ARAMARK’s largest Olympic
contract to date, marking the company’s 14th Olympic Games as dining services manager. As Vice President of
ARAMARK’s Olympic Catering Project for these Games, Bruno managed the catering services in the Olympic Village,
as well as the International Broadcast Center, Main Press Center and the Media Villages, where more than 3.5 million
meals were served over a 60-day period. He led a staff of nearly 7,000 international chefs, managers and employees
needed to provide catering services to nearly 65,000 athletes, coaches, officials and members of the media
each day.
His Olympic Games experience, which spans over 12 years, also includes management roles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics,
the 2000 Games in Sydney, and the 2004 Athens Olympics in Greece, where he served as ARAMARK’s Executive Director.
Bruno has held a variety of domestic and international management roles within the company, where he has gained diverse
experience in the International, Business and Industry, and Higher Education divisions of ARAMARK.
Throughout his career, Bruno has progressed through operations with positions of increasing responsibility. Most recently,
Bruno served as the Regional Vice President for the Eastern Region of ARAMARK Business Services, responsible for fine
dining, catering and food service operations. He has managed and expanded partnerships with over 300 client organizations,
while cultivating a superior management team. In addition to his operational background, Bruno also worked in ARAMARK
Higher Education as a Director of Business Development.
Bruno earned a bachelor’s degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration, and an MBA from the
Harvard Business School.
