An eleven-year veteran with Major League Soccer, Evan Dabby currently serves as the Senior Director of Operations. He oversees game operations, security operations, medical operations and team travel for all MLS teams and venues. He is the stadium operations lead for MLS Special Events, such as the All-Star and Cup games.
Evan is a liaison between MLS and the other major leagues. He has established joint ventures with industry companies working in spectator safety, stadium security, event management as well as field and stadium signage. To support the recent development of soccer specific stadia, he developed the MLS Venue Design Guide and MLS Training Site Design Guide. He also facilitates matters for the MLS medical community by organizing the Soccer Industry Medical Symposium. Evan holds positions on the Sports Security and Safety Management Advisory Board, Stadium Managers Association's Membership Committee, TEAM Coalition's Executive Committee, and the Professional Soccer Athletic Trainers Society's Marketing Committee.
Evan is a 1994 graduate from Tufts University, where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree, magna cum laude, and served as captain of the men's varsity soccer team. Dabby also earned a graduate certification from New York University's Sports Management program. Born November 28, 1975 in New York, NY, Evan resides in Freehold, NJ with his wife and son.
