Vicki Hawarden, CMP, is the president and chief executive officer of the International Association of Venue Managers. Vicki has more than 20 years of association management experience, which includes positions with Meeting Professionals International, National Recreation & Park Association, American Association of Blood Banks, International Association for Exhibition Management (now IAEE) and National Athletic Trainers Association. She has demonstrated success in the areas of executive management, fund raising, trade shows, events, publications, education and research.

Vicki is a 1987 graduate from the University of Oklahoma with a degree in journalism.
