Online Manual Ordering

TEAM Coalition is happy to announce that starting now you can order TEAM participant manuals online. This function is brand new and we are excited about its launch. For now, all orders will be invoiced after manuals have been shipped. Credit card transactions are coming soon!

As a reminder from March's newsletter, orders of TEAM participant manuals now include separately packaged bubble forms (exam and evaluation) and the exam questions, with multiple versions of the exam. Training manuals will no longer include the exam and evaluation forms. Trainers cannot use the old exam questions with the new exam forms.

However, older versions of TEAM participant manuals are still able to be used with the old exam questions. Please plan to have at least a two week period between testing new employees and scheduling them to work. TEAM is committed to providing certification results within ten business days of receiving certification exams.

Se habla espanol! Nous parlons français! Nós falamos o português! In addition to English, did you know that TEAM participant manuals are available in Spanish, French and Portuguese? When ordering manuals in those languages, TEAM will provide the exam questions for the appropriate manual.

TEAM and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim

TEAM made an early visit to the site of the 2010 Major League Baseball All-Star Game^® in Anaheim, CA. TEAM partnered with ARAMARK, Jack Daniels, and the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim to film a Public Service Announcement. Prior to fans settling into their seats to catch the Angels take on the Tampa Bay Rays, they had the opportunity to film their own message of responsibility, pledge to never drive drunk and always have a designated driver. RHIR Sweepstakes with the NBA

As the NBA Finals are about to kick-off in Los Angeles, TEAM would like to congratulate all 30 NBA teams for their commitment to responsibility and for participating in another great year as part of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards Sweepstakes. The Los Angeles Lakers will try to defend their title against the Boston Celtics beginning June 3rd and two lucky fans will cheer on their favorite team as grand prize winners of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards Sweepstakes compliments of TEAM and the NBA. TEAM has partnered with Hillard Heintze to confirm the eligibility of all Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes winners. A secondary prize will be awarded to one of the remaining 28 Designated Drivers for the season to receive a trip to the 2011 NBA All-Star game to be played on February 20, 2011.

Julie Hsu was selected as the Los Angeles Lakers Designated Driver for the Season and attended Game 1 of the NBA Finals played at the STAPLES Center on June 3rd, 2010. William Fonte was selected as the Boston Celtics Designated Driver for the Season and will be at Game 3 of the NBA Finals at the TD Garden in Boston on June 8th, 2010. Congratulations to both winners and to over 70,000 NBA fans that pledged to be designated drivers during the 2009-2010 NBA Season! RHIR Sweepstakes with the NHL

The NHL is wrapping up its 2009-2010 season and with it the first season of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards Sweepstakes. One designated driver for the season will be selected as the grand prize winner and receive two tickets to the 2011 NHL All Star Game in Raleigh, NC at the RBC Center. A second prize will be awarded to another designated driver for the season that will consist of two tickets to a game of their choosing during the 2010-2011 NHL season. TEAM Coalition and the NHL would like to thank the seven participating NHL teams and the 32,000 fans who pledged to be designated drivers this season.

NFL and MADD Partnership

TEAM is very happy to share the announcement made by the NFL this past month. MADD (Mothers Against Drunk Driving) has joined forces with the NFL to prevent drunk driving. The NFL and MADD will run pilot programs this coming season in Oakland and Buffalo. Click here to see the press release.

So far in 2010, ten IDP workshops have been conducted at sports and entertainment facilities across the country.
