TEAM Coalition proudly recognized this year's training certification and designated-driver program award winners at the 2011 MLS Soccer Operations Seminar on Wednesday January 26, 2011.

TEAM Coalition at NHL All-Star Game

NHL and Budweiser partnered with TEAM Coalition and Responsibility Has Its Rewards national campaign at the 2011 NHL All-Star Game. The Designated Driver for the Season for the Atlanta Thrashers - Lisa Hartman - attended the game as the winner of the NHL Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes for designated drivers.

TEAM at Super Bowl XLV and 2011 Pro Bowl

The National Football League, MillerCoors and HERO Campaign proudly joined forces with TEAM Coalition on the Responsibility Has Its Rewards (RHIR) national campaign for Super Bowl XLV and the 2011 Pro Bowl. Throughout the 2010 NFL season, each team offered fans the opportunity to pledge to be a designated driver. At the end of the season, each NFL team selected one fan to be their Designated Driver For the 2010 Season.

The Designated Drivers for the Season from the Green Bay Packers - Drew Muhich - and the Pittsburgh Steelers - Joan McConnell - attended Super Bowl XLV as the grand prize winners of the NFL Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes.

Volunteers from the HERO Campaign and professional sports teams and facilities including the St. Louis Cardinals, Philadelphia Phillies, Arizona Diamondbacks, New England Patriots and New Meadowlands Stadium all helped TEAM Coalition offer the responsibility photos for NFL Experience fans.

Chargers Win Inaugural Designated Driver Challenge

The San Diego Chargers were recognized at a luncheon on February 11, 2011 for winning the Inaugural Designated Driver Challenge with the Denver Broncos. Representatives from the Chargers, Centerplate, California Highway Patrol, Anheuser-Busch and TEAM Coalition gathered for the celebration.

The Designated Driver Challenge tracked the number of fans who pledged to be designated drivers at the Chargers final four home games of the 2010 regular season. Each fan who pledged to be a designated driver at Qualcomm Stadium earned the Chargers six points in the challenge. Additionally, fans who “liked” the Facebook page for the Challenge earned the team an extra point. The Chargers outscored the Broncos with 28,987 points as compared to 19,059. 4,612 Chargers fans pledged to be designated drivers at Qualcomm Stadium during the Challenge, and 1,315 fans “liked” the Facebook page for the Challenge.

TEAM at NBA All-Star Jam Session

The National Basketball Association and TEAM Coalition partnered on the Responsibility Has Its Rewards (RHIR) national campaign for the 2011 NBA Jam Session and All-Star Game. And officers from the California Highway Patrol did a phenomenal job recruiting fans to participate.

David Milligan, the lucky Designated Driver for the Season from the Washington Wizards attended the 2011 All Star Game at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles, CA as the winner of the first place prize of the NBA Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes for designated drivers. The prize package included airfare, hotel accommodations and a pair of tickets to the NBA All-Star Saturday Night, as well as the 2011 NBA All-Star Game, compliments of TEAM Coalition and the NBA.
