Fan PSA Filming with D.C. United!

TEAM traveled across the Potomac River to RFK Stadium in Washington, D.C. on April 17 to film a fan PSA with D.C. United Saturday night against the Chicago Fire. At the game, TEAM was met by a large number of eager fans who shared the important message of responsibility in front of the camera. Off screen, many fans also pledged to get friends and family home safely when they registered as designated drivers.
Thank you to all the fans who participated with enthusiasm on screen and also to those who pledged to be responsible by becoming designated drivers for the D.C. United soccer club.

State Laws

TEAM Coalition is constantly keeping up with changes in state alcohol laws in order to assist our trainers. We have created a link on our website to a map of all the states that have Dram Shop Liability Laws and Mandatory Server Training Laws.

Complete state law sheets are available to all certified TEAM trainers. Login to the trainer website and click on the Documents menu at the top of the screen. If you move to a new state, please make sure to review the state law sheet of your new location BEFORE conducting TEAM training.

Kentucky Derby Festival

For the first time in TEAM Coalition's history, fans of the Kentucky Derby Festival participated in the Responsibility Has Its Rewards campaign on April 30, 2010 in Louisville, KY. At the street festival and concert on the night before the first leg of the Triple Crown, fans who pledged to be responsible by always having a designated driver and never driving drunk received a souvenir photo with the campaign message and partner logos included on the frame of the photo.

NCAA Men's and Women's Final Four

TEAM's Responsibility Has Its Rewards booths at the Men's and Women's Final Four were a huge success. The NCAA and TEAM Coalition partnered to educate fans about the importance of always having a designated driver, never driving drunk and always buckling up. When fans pledged to be responsible at The Big Dance in Indianapolis, IN and at Tourney Town in San Antonio, TX, they received souvenir photos.

In addition to our outreach on-site at the championships, TEAM sent our winner of the TEAM Up 2 Win^® Sweepstakes to the Final Four. Pictured from top to bottom are our TEAM Up 2 Win! sweepstakes winners, Monique Adams, who attended the Women's Final Four, and Julie Dalforno, who attended the Men's Final Four.

Cardinals, MoDOT, and IDOT

TEAM Coalition brought together the St. Louis Cardinals, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), and the Illinois Department of Transportation (IDOT) this season to educate Cardinals fans about a new text messaging system that will allow guests to report unruly fan behavior. Stickers, including traffic safety messages, at Busch Stadium have been placed on the backs of the seats.

Houston Astros Responsibility Day

On April 29, 2010 TEAM partnered with the Houston Astros, ARAMARK, Anheuser-Busch and the Texas Department of Transportation for the first ever Houston Astros Responsibility Day. Fans who pledged to be responsible by always having a designated driver and never driving drunk received a souvenir photo with the campaign message and partner logos included on the frame of the photo.
