Winners Enjoy the Rewards of Responsibility at the World Series!

Over 366,000 pledged this year to be Designated Drivers at Major League Baseball ballparks around the country. Congratulations to our two Responsibility Has Its Rewards winners with Major League Baseball!

Two lucky fans at this year's World Series were able to cheer on their favorite club at Game 1 and Game 3 of the Fall Classic.

Jason Abelove was selected as the New York Yankees Designated Driver for the Season and as his reward he attended Game 1 of the 2009 World Series at Yankee Stadium.

Carol Schiffman was selected as the 2009 Designated Driver for the Season for the Philadelphia Phillies and attended Game 3 of the 2009 World Series at Citizens Bank Park. Thanks to Major League Baseball and its fans for making this our most successful year ever in promoting the message of responsibility throughout the league!

RHIR with the Cowboys and Redskins

TEAM took the short trip over to Landover, MD to film a fan PSA with Washington Redskins fans during their Monday Night Football game against the Philadelphia Eagles at FedEx Field on October 26, 2009. A very enthusiastic group of fans stepped up in front of the camera and filmed their message of responsibility. Thank you to the hundreds of fans that pledged to be designated drivers that day, and to those fans that filmed their message!

TEAM also visited Arlington, TX on October 25, 2009 to film fan PSAs with the Dallas Cowboys at their new facility. Hundreds of fans stopped by the TEAM booth to film their message for the Cowboys. Thanks to the Dallas Cowboys, MillerCoors, and Legends Hospitality for making this a great PSA filming.

International Crowd Management Conference

If you are planning on attending the International Crowd Management Conference in Charlotte, NC this month, you can get TEAM certified at no additional cost! The conference takes place from November 8-11 and the TEAM Certification calls will take place over the last two days. Upcoming IDPs

Would you like TEAM to come to your facility and conduct a TEAM Instructor Development Program (IDP) workshop? If you host a TEAM IDP at your facility, you receive two free registrations! Please send us an e-mail if you are interested in hosting an IDP.

2009 continues to be one of TEAM’s busiest years for IDP workshops. So far this year we have conducted 14 IDP workshops at sports and entertainment facilities across the country. Nearly 200 new trainers became certified and over 100 trainers recertified to date.
