TEAM Coalition is pleased to provide our trainers with a new Participant Refresher Course. This abbreviated training course emphasizes all the key concepts of TEAM training including the following:
- Looking for guests showing warning signs of impairment or who have a high tolerance
- Understanding how alcohol is absorbed in the body and how different people can be affected by alcohol differently
- Knowing what YOUR FACILITY POLICIES are and how to enforce them
- Intervening with guests who need help or who may harm themselves or others
- Communicating with co-workers, supervisors or other employees in the building when you see a problem
The refresher course incorporates new video scenes to keep the alcohol management message fresh and current for your employees. Please take the time to watch the new video BEFORE training the refresher course.
The refresher course was designed for trainers to review with their employees and volunteers BETWEEN certification years. We trust that this will be a valuable tool for our trainers and participants.
To download any of the TEAM training materials, including this Refresher Course documents - both the Participant Guide and the Trainer Guide - as well as the Standard Training Course PowerPoint file with the introduction video, please go to our Alcohol Management Training Tools website.

With the first four games of the NFL regular season behind us, one more NFL team has filmed a designated-driver PSA with TEAM. The New York Giants and New Meadowlands Stadium asked fans to be the voice of responsibility at their game on September 26th at the New Meadowlands Stadium. Fans that signed-up to be designated drivers that day were also asked to go in front of the camera to help film a PSA that will be shown on the stadium video board during the rest of the season.
Thanks to the New York Giants, New Meadowlands Stadium, Anheuser-Busch, Delaware North Companies Sportservice and especially to all the Giants fans that helped out that day! Click here to see all the details about the PSA!
At every home game this NFL season, Chicago Bears fans will have the unique opportunity to autograph a gigantic 10-foot tall football on display at the north entrance to Soldier Field.

The Chicago Bears and their program partners - MillerCoors and TEAM Coalition - hope to have the entire football covered in fan signatures by the end of the regular season. Good luck Bears! Click here to view photos from the September 27, 2010 media event to kick-off the promotion.
