Responsibility Has Its Rewards Designated Drivers Attend Super Bowl and Pro Bowl The
TEAM Coalition and the NFL joined together in support of designated driver programs
at all NFL stadiums during the 2003 season with a special incentive. Fans who
registered to be a designated driver pledged to not drink alcohol, drove their

TEAM Honors
St. Louis Cardinals at Winter Warm-up On January 18, 2004 TEAM
Coalition recognized the St. Louis Cardinals with the Excellent Performer
award for their commitment to promoting responsible alcohol consumption
at Busch Stadium. The Cardinals were commended for training nearly 100%
of their game-day operations staff in alcohol management, specifically
designed to prevent alcohol-related incidents. In preparation for the 2003
season, 375 employees at Busch Stadium – from SportService concessions
servers to ushers and ticket takers – were trained to identify potential
alcohol abuse situations, prevent underage drinking, and handle fans who

St. Louis Cardinals
and Colorado Rockies Communicate Responsibility Message to Fans In 2004,
both the St. Louis Cardinals and the Colorado Rockies partnered with TEAM
to launch a communications campaign with their fans. Each club printed and
distributed over 100,000 information cards to season ticket holders and fans
who attend the first several home stands at Busch Stadium and Coors Field
this season. The information cards display the Ground Rules for Fans, explain
security procedures, and remind fans to think ahead and use designated drivers
when attending Cardinals or Rockies home games.

Identification Devices Help Deter Underage Drinking TEAM has been introduced to two
identification devices that detect invalid and counterfeit identifications. The
IDLogix C100 Terminal, manufactured by Concord EFS, incorporates a card swipe or
scanning system to determine if an ID is valid and if it represents a person over
the age of 21.

Precision Dynamics Corporation's product not only scans IDS to determine if they
are valid but it also quickly prints a wristband with unique identification
information to prove a valid ID was presented.

While TEAM does not endorse either company or product, several sports facility
operators and concessions members have requested information on ID devices.
