Washington, DC/ January 2004- Double R Productions won three
Communicator Awards for TEAM’s Teaser Training Scenes, DOE’s Ensuring
a Safer, Brighter Future and AOL/Momentum Marketing Partner Launch
produced last year.
TEAM’s (Techniques for Effective Alcohol Management) Teaser Training
Scenes won the Crystal Award of Excellence in the category of internal
communications/training. It is a nine-minute introduction to 21
segments designed to educate employees at sports and entertainment
venues on issues of alcohol management. The teaser scenes preview
alcohol management techniques which are demonstrated in the training
video. The project was produced for Techniques for Effective Alcohol
Management (TEAM) Coalition. Member organizations of the Coalition that
participated in the development of the piece include the four major
sports leagues (MLB, NBA, NFL, and NHL), ARAMARK, the National Highway
Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) and the National Association of
Broadcasters (NAB). Other organizational members of the TEAM Coalition
include Beer Institute, Anheuser-Busch, Miller Brewing Company, Coors
Brewing Company, the International Association of Assembly Managers
(IAAM), and Health Communications, Inc.

Double R Productions also won the Award of Distinction for Ensuring a
Safer, Brighter Future in the category of government/education.
Created for the United States Department of Energy (DOE) and its
contractor Parallax, Inc., this video illustrates the effectiveness
of the department’s integrated safety management program in protecting
workers and the environment at government sites. It includes highlights
of DOE Secretary Spencer Abraham’s address to an executive safety summit
for high level managers.
Additionally, Double R received an Honorable Mention for AOL/Momentum
Marketing Partner Launch in the internal communications/employee
communication category. This production celebrated the launch of AOL’s
newest product and outlined the company’s comprehensive marketing and
advertising plan.
