The TEAM Coalition and the National Basketball Association are supporting the designated driver programs at all NBA arenas during the 2007 season with a special incentive. Every arena offers fans a designated driver booth program. Fans who register to be a designated driver pledge to not drink alcohol, drive their friends and family home safely, and ensure that everyone always buckles up.
At the end of the season, one designated driver representing each NBA team will be selected. The Designated Drivers for the Season from the teams that play in the NBA Finals will each receive a trip for two (2) people to the 2009 NBA All-Star Game in Phoenix, AZ. Each NBA All-Star Game prize includes two (2) tickets to the game, roundtrip airfare, and hotel accommodations. The prizes will be awarded after both the Eastern and Western Conference Finals conclude.

2008 NBA All-Star Jam Session
TEAM Coalition promoted the Responsibility Has Its Rewards sweepstakes at the 2008 NBA All-Star Jam Session at the The Ernest N. Morial Convention Center in New Orleans, LA. Fans who attend Jam Session will receive a souvenir photo and have the opportunity to record their own responsibility message after pledging to always have a designated driver and always buckle up - every trip, every time - as part of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards campaign.

2006 NBA All-Star Jam Session
TEAM Coalition partnered with the Texas Department of Transportation, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and RADD: The Entertainment Industry's Voice for Road Safety to offer fans a unique experience. All-Star Game fans who attended Jam Session at the George R. Brown Convention Center February 16 - 20, 2006 recorded their own traffic safety message as part of the Responsibility Has Its Rewards campaign.
