Responsibility Has Its Rewards national sponsor TEAM Coalition joins the Florida Marlins and Florida Department of Transportation
in support of traffic safety, responsible alcohol consumption, and positive fan behavior. This effort
brings the RHIR campaign national responsibility messages
'Fans Don't Let Fans Drive Drunk' and 'Buckle Up - Every Trip, Every Time' to the Florida Marlins games on July 20th, 21st, and 22nd in Miami, FL at Dolphin Stadium.
Marlins fans showed their commitment to the importance of having a designated a driver, buckling up, and demonstrating
positive fan behavior by being the spokespeople for this important message themselves. Fans read a pre-defined
script from a teleprompter and receive a copy of their message electronically. Fans’ messages may be selected
to be included in a broadcast traffic safety message, public service announcement and/or vignette.
This effort was in conjunction with local law enforcement who were out at the game on July 20th. Fans who were buckled up as they
drove into the parking lot at Dolphin Stadium were rewarded with vouchers to attend future Marlins games. The buckle up effort
will continue several more times at Dolphin Stadium throughout the remainder of the season.
